3-Day Fascinating Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater

Depart Arusha at 08:00 and head to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2 to 2.5-hour drive (120km). Upon arrival at the park's entrance, you will have a short break while your guide completes the necessary formalities.

Begin your adventure with a walking safari in one of the more secluded parts of Tarangire, accompanied by a trained and experienced field guide. Your guide will teach you how to recognize and follow various wildlife tracks.

After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring the park's diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife, including large herds of elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests. By late afternoon, you will exit the park and head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart from the lodge and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, about 45 minutes to 1 hour (43km) away. After a brief stop at the entrance, begin your crater tour, where you will explore the beauty of the crater and search for the Big 5 animals.

Lunch will be served at the Engoitoktok picnic site, offering views of the hippo pool. Afterward, visit a Maasai village to learn about their unique culture, take photographs, and purchase souvenirs. After the cultural tour, return to Arusha for your overnight stay or airport drop-off.

After breakfast, leave the lodge and head to Lake Manyara National Park, just a 30-minute drive (28km). Once formalities are completed, embark on a canoeing tour, offering a unique perspective of the park's steep escarpment, evergreen forests, and numerous aquatic and bird species.

Following the canoeing adventure, enjoy a walking tour on the Manyara Treetop Walkway, a sky-high journey through the beautiful forest, providing a unique view of nature and wildlife from above.

After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring the park's various ecosystems, including the famous tree-climbing lions, hippos, elephants, giraffes, and more. In the evening, you will exit the park and head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
